Proactive Example - Falls News Q&A (250 words)

Can you give an example of how you have been proactive as a government leader in

Sheboygan Falls?

Starting a new subdivision with Hillcrest Builders is a prime example of my continued proactive style during this term as Mayor.

We worked hard behind the scenes for over six months to come up with a developer agreement with Hillcrest. We presented a new nostalgic zoning to the Plan Commission and Council, both of which passed unanimously. The end result is 27 new single-family lots in Sheboygan Falls, leading to new home building this year.

The completion of the round-about in 2016 was key in attracting Kwik Trip to Sheboygan Falls. Originally, Kwik Trip wasn’t going to build until 2018, but our proactive professional approach resulted in them deciding to build in 2017.

Metallic Tube Applications building now in Vision Business Park, Dura-Trel breaking ground soon on a 67,000 square foot building, and the new four-way stop sign at C and TT are more examples of my proactive approach during this two-year term. Below is a list of other proactive accomplishments during my entire time of service. I was asked to keep each answer to 250 words or less, so visit www.VoteRandyMeyer.com for more details.
