“It doesn’t take sight to run a community, it takes a vision.” continues to be my campaign slogan.

Being blind is not a handicap to me; it is a challenge that has taught me to come up with unique solutions to unique problems.

The technology I use includes an iPhone and computer that both talk. I scan printed material and my computer reads it back to me.

Despite being blind, I was an All-American and Academic All-American wrestler in college.

I may not be able to recognize your face, but just tell me your name and I will remember the last time we talked and what we talked about.

Born and raised in Sheboygan Falls, I am honored to be serving in his 20th year as the Mayor of Sheboygan Falls; is a motivational speaker, former financial planner, was recognized as one of the Ten Outstanding Young Americans and is inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame.  Randy currently serves on the League of Wisconsin Municipalities board as 2nd Vice-President.

Randy Meyer owns and operates Meyer Motivates, which gives him the opportunity to present motivational talks across the country to associations and corporations, as The Mayor of Motivation.

Cancer took Randy’s eyesight at age two, but it did not take his vision for life or desire for accomplishment.  From a young age, Randy’s blindness taught him to come up with unique solutions to unique problems.  He does not view his blindness as a handicap and does not let it slow him down in life.  Remarkably, Randy enjoys more success then most sighted individuals.  He was a championship wrestler in college and high school, a successful businessman and is currently the Mayor of his hometown of Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin.  Randy believes that the world should not have to adapt to him, rather that he needs to adapt to the world.
